29,100 reasons to become a Partner in the Arts with DAC:

  • The DAC had 26,000 visitors in 2010 and with an expansion of education, gallery and theater programs and events, the DAC anticipates 29,100 visitors in 2011.
  • The DAC is located in a post-Victorian commercial structure dating back to the 1920’s that was officially named the Hocker Motors Building. It was scheduled for demolition in 1996 to create a parking lot. DAC purchased the building and refurbished it.
  • The DAC now houses a thriving children’s and adult education studio, the Barbara Conrad Gallery, the Garner/Vega Library, the community arts center theater with the Diane Panelli Stage and a dance studio.
  • The DAC has two docent programs and multiple resident groups including Durango Performing Arts Company, Durango Dot Comedy and Agape.
  • DAC hosts community events including fundraisers for other local non-profits including KDUR, the Durango Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Resource Center and others.
  • DAC was selected to receive professional advice and mentoring from the DeVos Institute of Arts Management at the Kennedy Center.

  • The ‘Arts’ is the fifth largest employer in Colorado, with Southwest Colorado employing approximately 4,500 people in the creative industries.

  • The economic impact of the ‘Arts’ industry is significant for the City in sales tax revenue.

Does our business get a tax break? The Durango Arts Center is an Enterprise Zone Contribution Project. Memberships may qualify for a Colorado state income tax credit of 25%.

Corporate Contributors - $250 (special rate for 1st year corporate contributors $150)

Stanton Englehart Level – $500
All of the benefits of the Corporate Contributor level plus:

  • Business listing in the DAC newsletter, Artsline, for one year
  • Link to your website from www.durangoarts.org
  • 5% discount in gallery (for one company representative)
  • 5% discount in gallery shop (for one company representative)
  • 5% discount on education programs (for one company representative)
  • 5% discount on rental space in the DAC
  • 5% discount on block of tickets (15 +) of events produced solely by DAC (call for list)

Georgia O’Keeffe Level – $1500
All of the benefits of the Corporate Contributor level plus:

  • Sponsor recognition (co-sponsorship at a major event or primary sponsorship for a gallery show)
  • Business listing in the DAC newsletter, Artsline, for one year
  • Link to your website from www.durangoarts.org and business biography
  • 10% discount in gallery (for one company representative and 5 employees)
  • 10% discount in gallery shop (for one company representative and 5 employees)
  • 10% discount on education programs (for one company representative and 5 employees)
  • 10% discount on rental space in the DAC
  • 10% discount on block of tickets (15+) of events produced solely by DAC (call for list)

Picasso Level – $3000
This level of sponsorship can be custom designed to your company’s marketing needs. The intention is to provide exposure through a recognized sponsorship at one of our major events such as one of the DAC fundraisers, theater production or special gallery exhibit. Benefits include recognition on marketing materials for that event.
Additionally, all of benefits of the Corporate Contributor level are included plus:

  • Business listing in the DAC newsletter, Artsline, for one year
  • Link to your website from www.durangoarts.org and extended business biography
  • 15% discount in gallery (for one company representative and 10 employees)
  • 15% discount in gallery shop (for one company representative and 10 employees)
  • 15% discount on education programs (for one company representative and 10 employees)
  • 15% discount on rental space in the DAC
  • 15% discount on block of tickets (15+) of events produced solely by DAC (call for list)

Da Vinci Level – $5000 plus
This level of sponsorship can be custom designed to your company’s marketing needs. The intention is to provide prominent exposure at the headliner level through a recognized sponsorship at one of our major events such as one of the DAC fundraisers, theater production or special gallery exhibit. Benefits include primary recognition on all marketing materials. Alternatively, a free facility rental can be provided for a company event such as a “meet and greet” with your clients and/or employees in the gallery.
Additionally, all of benefits of the Corporate Contributor level are included plus:

  • Business listing with logo in the DAC newsletter, Artsline, for one year
  • Link to your website from www.durangoarts.org and extended feature story
  • 20% discount in gallery (for one company representative and all employees)
