DAC In-Residence at Willowtail Springs
DAC In-Residence at Willowtail SpringsFebruary 9, 2018
Visual artists, musicians and writers are invited to apply for a week-long residency at Willowtail Springs (Mancos, CO).  DAC will fund 3 residencies in 2018.  This opportunity is open to all career levels, and there is no fee to apply. The residency award provides weeklong access to a studio space and a separate cabin on the serene Willowtail property.
8th Annual 10-Minute Play Contest
8th Annual 10-Minute Play ContestFebruary 9, 2018
Playwrights are invited to submit original works to the 8th Annual 10-Minute Play Contest.  DAC receives over 100 submissions from across North America that are reviewed blindly through a series of readings by community members.  Judges select a Grand Prize Winner ($500) and audience members select a People’s Choice Award ($100) at staged readings held in June. The Grand Prize and People’s Choice Awards will be among five plays performed in the DAC Theater as part of the 10-Minute Play Festival, October 12-14, which has become one of Durango’s most anticipated annual theatre events.

Concept proposals are welcome for 2019 exhibit ideas in the Barbara Conrad and Entrada/Arriba galleries at DAC, accepting artists and curators of all career stages local and national, and in all mediums and themes for group and solo shows.
