Book Making: Exploring Memories, History & Sense of Place with Barbara Klema
$195 DAC Members / $225 Non-Members
At this nostalgic time of year it is nice to explore one’s own personal history. In this workshop students will use memory, writing, and images to construct collaged book pages that reflect a sense of place. Color, mark making, texture, etc. will be combined with images to create a visual memoir in a beautifully crafted handmade book structure. The resulting handmade book can be treasured as an amazing personal record, made public as an artist’s book or given as an incredible gift.
