February 1 – 25: Sweethearts of the Arts in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. Sweethearts of the Arts Valentine Fair, January 31 - February 7.

February 10: Deadline for submissions for 10-Minute Play Contest (Entries must be postmarked on or before February 18.)

February 1 & 2: "Kids Follies": This ever-popular fun-filled family version of the Follies returns to the DAC Theater, at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, students and children.

4 Beginning Basket Weaving with Karen Aldrich, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Education studio

Plein: Gallery Shop

The Gallery Shop is now under the management of Mary Puller, whose background includes working with the Mingei International Folk Art Museum. She has also coordinated traveling art exhibits, served as a corporate art consultant and, most recently, was the buyer and manager for the United Nations UNICEF store in Tucson, Arizona.

Plein shows handcrafts from many cultures, including the work of select regional artists and craftmen. The unique works are predominately useful objects, arts of daily life. The pieces illustrate beauty, simplicity, elegance, and function. Work includes textiles, ceramics, jewelry, paper, wood, metal, glass and basketry. Her enjoyment and appreciation of cultural arts guides the product selection. Plan to attend one of the scheduled educational Trunk Shows, which will be posted on this webpage.

The shop will be open for evening events and performances.
