Exploring Feminism: Beauty or Bondage? is a creative exploration of feminism, beauty, power, and gender oppression featuring the art of Judy Hayes, with photography by Savanna Goodman and poetry by Pamela Nocerino.

Workshops (Saturday, April 11)

Collage Art with Judy Hayes
10:00am – 2:00pm (break from 12:00-1:00 for lunch)
A 3-hour hands-on workshop exploring collage technique. Materials provided — feel free to bring your own scraps or images. Maximum 8 participants.

Conceptual Photography with Savanna Goodman
11:00am – 12:00pm (1 hour)
Examine images from Beauty or Bondage? and discuss contemporary political and social issues addressed through symbolic storytelling.

Poetry and Feminism with Pamela Nocerino
1:00 – 2:00pm (1 hour)
A guided exploration of phenomenal women’s poems — and a chance to draft one of your own!
