May 18 The top entries of the 10-Minute Play 2012 Contest will be presented as staged readings at The Durango Arts Center. The Judges will select the top 5 entries and the winner of the Grand Prize Award ($500). Audience members will select their favorite 10 Minute Play for an award of $50. 7 p.m. Admission is free.

June 7 Inaugural First Thursdays, 5 – 8 p.m. The First Thursdays gallery walk is a celebration of the arts in downtown Durango when galleries and other venues showing art open their doors on the first Thursday of each month to introduce new exhibits and artists.
