Adult Theatre Workshops
Time to mark off your bucket list, take a risk, be creative, and do that thing you have always wanted to do!
Whether you are a seasoned actor or a beginner, you will enjoy what performing arts can offer!
Understanding that the performing arts helps develop artistic and life skills, self-image, and social commitment, DAC Theatre’s adult performing art workshops offer a platform to explore not only theatre skills, but also personal and professional development through theory, method, movement and expression.
Please note that due to the nature of the classes, improv classes are restricted to students 18 years and older. Thank you for understanding!

Stay Tuned for the Next Class!
Do you ever just want to break out into song? This three-week class starts with the basics of musical improv, such as rhyming (or not), song structure, and working with an accompanist. Next, you’ll learn how to put a song into all kinds of scenes – exploring the dynamics of solos, duets, and full group numbers. By the end of the class, we’ll start to explore and play with the various improv forms where you can use musical improv to tell a joke, perform a scene, or put on a full-blown improvised musical that has never been seen before. No prior singing experience required. Previous improv experience will be helpful but is not required.
