During this program we will be exploring our community in Durango and how we can give back as creatives. During this week, students will be learning a plethora of art skills from a variety of different guest artist instructors. We will take some of those skills to paint a Mural to help beautify our community. Students will also take these skills and will focus on finding the value in another man’s trash as we travel down the river trail finding materials to turn into found object sculptures. During this trip, we will explore the local art and learn how it helps make a difference in our society.

During each day, the students will also have the option of taking a creative break to learn circus skills so they can exercise both their body and minds.

This is a great program to help young artists find their confidence, learn valuable life skills all the while having fun and making new friends for years to come.
