DURANGO ARTS CENTER, SAT. DEC. 7th @ 7 pm: Live storytelling from the Raven Narratives returns to close out the year with a STORY SLAM! We offer, you, our beloved audience, two themes to choose from: HOLIDAYS and/or RESILIENCE.

Bring your story of holiday joy, mishap or miracle, a story of resilience in the face of despair or hardship or a combination of both! This is a SLAM EVENT where audience members tell their stories on the Raven Narratives stage all night long!

Storytelling Guidelines:

Stories must be told in the first person

Stories must be true, as told from that person’s perspective

No soapboxing or political statements

No rants raves or explicit endorsements

Stories must be told in approximately 4 – 6 minutes

Stories should relate meaningfully to the themes of HOLIDAYS and/or RESILIENCE

Enjoy an evening of poignant and powerful storytelling! Doors open at 6:30pm, storytelling starts at 7:00pm.
