Michael Kadja grew up in North County, San Diego. He was part of the airbrush community, painting surfboards and making t-shirts. This passion then evolved into printmaking. After many years of surfing in Hawaii and skiing Mammoth Mountain, he retired to Pagosa Springs CO, where he now has a studio and makes Aspen wood frames for his prints.
