Megan Gray

I think of art as visual storytelling. The goal of every creation is the same: to honor even the smallest things to make a grand composition.
ARtist Bio

“Mostly self taught” — this describes my artist journey. I have an associates degree in Fine Art, however it’s only a grain of sand in the hourglass of time spent in creative pursuits! Bob Ross said it best, “Talent is a pursued interest. Anything you’re willing to practice, you can do.”

I like to think of my art as visual storytelling. Whether the story is told through my pencils, linocuts, or acrylics…the goal is the same. To honor even the smallest of things that make a composition or moment grand.

My adoration for nature is rooted deep in my home stomping grounds of Coos Bay, Oregon. Residing on the rugged Southern Oregon Coast provides a steady source of adventure and inspiration. An enthusiast of outdoor escapes–I’m an attentive meanderer. Observing the interconnectedness of the natural world, is at the core of my creative spirit. And my artwork is a reflection of my time spent immersed in nature’s narrative.
