Get your hands dirty and discover the fun of working with clay! In this six-week class, young artists will learn the fundamentals of hand-building through slab construction while creating functional and imaginative ceramic projects. Students will explore techniques such as cutting, joining, carving, and adding texture as they transform simple slabs of clay into unique works of art. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and bring home a collection of one-of-a-kind ceramic creations.
No prior clay experience is necessary — just bring your imagination and a willingness to create!
