DYT: Fall 2025 Double Feature

The Durango Youth Theater (DYT) and JR Companies are proud to present a Fall 2025 Double Feature: “Musicville” and “Olympus.”

Musicville takes you on an adventure with Maiden Melody and Radical Rhythm as they attempt to save their town from the Sorcerer of Silence. On their quest to the Castle of Composition, they pass through the Desert of Doo-wop, the Ocean of Opera, and the Terrible Terrain of Tango meeting musical friends and foes along the way. Their journey teaches them about new kinds of music, overcoming obstacles, and the importance of working together!

Olympus (The Greek Rock Musical) is where ancient myths meet modern mischief! The Greek gods, tired of their immortal routines, spark a competition to meddle with mortals and prove who’s the greatest Greek god of all time. When a group of modern-day cousins set off on a hike to “Olympus Overlook,” they have no idea they’re about to be tested by ancient deities. With catchy songs, heartfelt moments, and plenty of laughs, Olympus is a mythic adventure about family, connection, and discovering that the real view from the top is the one you share together.

All ticket sales go right back into the DAC DYT fund to support scholarships and the continuation of this wonderful creative opportunity for the youth of Durango and the surrounding region.
